Douglas County School District is seeking a Substitute Educational Assistant IV to support special education staff and students at Cherokee Trail Elementary. You will assist with instruction, health needs, and daily activities, while maintaining records and collaborating with the IEP team.

The role emphasizes safety, clerical support, and occasional medical procedures under supervision, with a focus on student well-being and smooth daily operation.

Qualifications

• High School or Equivalent (Required).
• First Aid & CPR Certification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with parents and school personnel as needed.
• Provide clerical support for teachers and assist with IEP goals.
• May assist with medical procedures and administer medications.
• Escort and supervise students, including transfers to buses.
• Assist with daily functions and life skills instruction.
