Job summary

Douglas County School District in Parker, CO is seeking a Substitute Educational Assistant IV for Arrowwood Elementary. You will support special education teachers with instruction and health needs, and provide some clerical assistance.

This role may involve lifting 40-70 pounds, assisting with daily living skills, and possibly administering medications. Requires High School or Equivalent; First Aid & CPR certification preferred; position open until filled.

Qualifications

• High School or Equivalent (Required).
• First Aid & CPR Certification - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Documents health related services and supports IEP goals.
• Assist with daily classroom or lab activities (one-on-one and small groups).
• Maintain some student records and collaborate with the special education team.
• Communicate with parents and school personnel as needed.
• Provide clerical support for teachers (reports, materials).
• May assist with therapeutic activities and basic medical procedures.
• May supervise or escort students to buses and handle daily functions.
