Job summary

Keller ISD's North Riverside Elementary in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Special Education Aide for the 2026-2027 school year. Under the supervision of a Certified Teacher, you will support students with disabilities inside and outside the classroom and assist with IEP implementation.

This full-time, 183-day position requires dedication to instructional support, student management, and collaboration with staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate.
• Experience working with children; preferred in educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support under the direction of the teacher to individuals or small groups.
• Assist with preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Assist with administration and scoring of tests and assignments.
• Maintain a neat and orderly classroom and assist with inventory and equipment maintenance.
• Keep administrative records and assist with required reports.
• Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teachers.
• Supervise students during lunch, bus, and recess as needed.
