Summary of EduStaff Designated Substitute Teacher Position: This is an EduStaff sub teacher position. The sub teacher will be guaranteed work each school day except the day before and after a holiday and on the last day of school. The sub teacher will be automatically assigned to the first opening in his/her designated region; however, the substitute teacher may be moved to a different region/program depending on each region's/program's needs. It will be the sub teacher's responsibility to monitor the Red Rover system for his/her daily jobs.

While performing the duties of this job, the Substitute Teacher is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. The Substitute Teacher frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and talk or hear. The Substitute Teacher is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The Substitute Teacher is frequently required to bend at the neck more than the average person. The Substitute Teacher must regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and peripheral vision. The Substitute Teacher needs to be able to tell where a sound is coming from and hear in a noisy environment. Occasionally will assist in physical management of students.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The Substitute Teacher is frequently required to interact with the public and other staff. The Substitute Teacher is directly responsible for the safety, well-being and work output of students.
