Grundy County Special Education Co-Op is hiring a Substitute Paraprofessional to assist teachers in a range of special education classrooms for Pre-K through high school. This role supports students with various disabilities and ages, fostering inclusive learning environments.

Paraprofessionals will travel between Morris, Minooka, Channahon, Shorewood, and Gardner, IL to support different sites. Applicants must hold an Illinois Paraprofessional License and/or an Illinois Substitute License.

Qualifications

• Illinois Paraprofessional License or Illinois Substitute License required.

Job description

Subsitute Paraprofessional

Responsibilities: Aide the teacher ina variety of special education classrooms with varying disabilities and ages.

Classrooms will consist of Pre-k through High School Autism classrooms, Elementary through High School Life Skills classrooms, Transition ages 18-22 Life Skills classrooms, Elementary through High School Emotional/Behavioral classrooms, and Early Childhood Special Education classrooms.

Paraprofessionals will be required to travel to various locations. Location of classrooms: Morris, Minooka, Channahon, Shorewood, and Gardner, IL.

Required: Illinois Paraprofessional License and/or Illinois Substitute License
