Job summary

Grundy County Special Education Co-Op seeks a Substitute Teacher to support diverse special education classrooms across Morris, IL and surrounding districts. You’ll work with Pre-K through high school students with Autism, Life Skills, Emotional/Behavioral, and other needs, providing instruction and support.

Travel to Morris, Minooka, Channahon, Shorewood, and Gardner locations is required. Illinois Substitute or Teaching License is required to qualify.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Illinois Substitute License or Illinois Teaching License.
• Experience with diverse ages and disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of special education classrooms across Pre-K–12.
• Travel to Morris, Minooka, Channahon, Shorewood, and Gardner, IL as needed.

Substitute Teacher

Responsibilities: Teach a variety of special education classrooms with varying disabilities and ages.

Classrooms will consist of Pre-k through High School Autism classrooms, Elementary through High School Life Skills classrooms, Transition ages 18-22 Life Skills classrooms, Elementary through High School Emotional/Behavioral classrooms, and Early Childhood Special Education classrooms.

Teachers will be required to travel to various locations. Location of classrooms: Morris, Minooka, Channahon, Shorewood, and Gardner, IL.
