Job summary

Nassau BOCES is seeking Teacher Aides to support students across the Department of Special Education. Substitute positions are available to assist in meeting individual goals and needs.

You will provide instructional support, help maintain classroom organization, collect data, and assist in tasks of daily living and behavior modification as required.

Daily living skills may include feeding, toileting, mobility, and related activities, with supervision and guidance from the classroom teacher.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Experience with students with disabilities is highly desired.
