Job summary

Education Service Center, Region 2 is seeking a program manager to oversee network, projects, and services that help school districts implement federal and state requirements for students with disabilities.

The role delivers training and technical assistance on accommodations, modifications, co-teaching, differentiated instruction, and related accountability systems, guided by a region-wide needs assessment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Certified in Dyslexia required.

Responsibilities

• Manages assigned network, projects, and programs to assist school districts in implementing federal laws and regulations, state laws and Commissioner and State Board of Education rules that meet the diverse needs of all students.
• Provides training, technical assistance, activities, and services related to these projects and network activities and regional needs, including technical assistance and training on accommodations and modifications, co-teaching, and differentiated instruction.
• Keeps abreast of changes and timelines/deadlines for systems such as RDA and SPP as well as other federal/state accountability systems related to special education.
• Services will be based on a region-wide needs assessment system that includes priority areas in special education regulations and state deliverables addressing social emotional development of students.
