Hall County Schools - Cherokee Bluff High School in Flowery Branch, GA is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to maximize learning for students with special needs through individualized instruction and behavioral support.

The role involves developing and implementing IEPs, collaborating with PPTs, coordinating with agencies, and maintaining records while supporting families and staff in a dynamic school environment.

Formación

• Knowledge of Special Education principles, theories, testing, methods.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs.
• Ability to use computer networks and software applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents.

Responsabilidades

• Maximize learning for students with special needs through instruction and behavior support.
• Conduct assessments and determine actions to maximize learning.
• Participate in PPTs and develop IEPs for students.
• Coordinate with outside agencies and authorities as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and provide student information to colleges/employers.
• Counsel students and liaison between home and school.
• Organize materials and maintain inventory records.
• Assist in orientation of new teachers and provide in-service training.
• Travel to district buildings and professional meetings as required.
