Hall County Schools Flowery Branch is seeking a dedicated instructional assistant to support students in a self-contained MOID special education classroom. Under supervision, you will assist certified staff, reinforce reading, math, and language arts, and help with materials and record-keeping.

You will supervise activities, accompany students on field trips, assist with behavior management, and support parent communication to involve families.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with students with special needs desirable.
• Ability to follow directions and support instructional goals.

Responsabilidades

• Assists and guides students to reinforce reading, language arts, mathematics, computer instruction, and other skills.
• Works with students individually and in small groups to reinforce basic learning and implement programs.
• Assists staff with administration and correction of classroom exercises and assessments.
• Prepares materials and supports instructional strategies for individual student needs.
• Maintains records documenting student learning and performance.
• Supports classroom behavior management to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Supervises students in non-instructional areas and accompanies on field trips.
