Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in special education or education.
• Minimum of three years of experience in special education, general education, compliance, or related work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the State's General Supervision System to ensure IDEA compliance.
• Conduct monitoring activities and provide training and technical assistance.
• Support continuous improvement activities of LEAs to secure FAPE.
• Identify noncompliance and assist with corrective action and system strengthening.
• Collaborate with families, LEAs, and OPI staff to improve student outcomes.
