Qualifications

• Current Idaho Teacher Certification with Generalist K/12 endorsement.
• Highly Qualified Teacher status required by Nampa School District.
• Bachelor's degree in appropriate field.
• Teaching or student teaching experience at the appropriate grade level.
• Alternative qualifications considered by the Board.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for assigned classes with planned lessons.
• Design sequential, appropriately challenging lessons.
• Use diverse instructional techniques and media.
• Identify pupil needs and tailor instruction to those needs.
• Analyze student data to modify activities.
• Follow IEP modifications and accommodations.
• Prepare students for district, state, and federal tests.
• Maintain classroom rules and positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with case managers and staff on IEPs.
• Communicate with parents about progress and concerns.
