Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Responsibilities
- Work with students requiring instructional and/or behavioral assistance under supervision of the special education department, teacher or designee
- Support students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as established by health professionals
- Provide classroom and school-wide support to help students participate in activities
