Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Aide in Rochester, NY. This contract–part time position offers 30 hours per week with pay of $22 per hour, supporting students with instructional and behavioral needs under the supervision of the special education team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification must be current if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Work with students requiring instructional and/or behavioral assistance under supervision of the special education department, teacher, and/or supervising designee.
• May provide support for personal mobility and therapeutic care needs as established by health professionals.
