Qualifications

• Arizona Teaching Certificate is required.
• AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
• SEI endorsement coursework completed is required.
• Additional endorsed areas may be required depending on instruction area.
• Knowledge of computer applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a program of study meeting individual student needs.
• Provide specialized instruction aligned with each student’s IEP goals.
• Create a conducive classroom environment and enforce rules fairly.
• Develop weekly lesson plans aligned with curriculum aims and objectives.
• Monitor progress and report quarterly and annual progress on IEP goals.
• Maintain accurate student records and perform related duties.
