Job summary

Granite School District is seeking a Special Education resource paraeducator at Skyline High. The role supports instruction by providing direct services to students under the supervising teacher’s guidance. The position requires dependable attendance and adherence to classroom routines.

The aide helps with drills, data collection, behavior support, and personal care tasks as needed, following district policies and seeking professional development as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• If working in a Title I school: 48 college credits or ParaPro exam.
• Prior experience with students with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement drill and practice exercises for groups or individuals.
• Keep accurate data on student progress and data collection.
• Supervise students in classroom and community settings; assist with transportation and skill development.
• Provide personal care and support as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student progress and safety.
• Attend and participate in required professional development.
