Qualifications

• Holds required state Department of Education credentials; experience with special education.
• OTES credentialed evaluator status required.
• Ability to develop and implement program improvements based on data and research-based practices.
• Demonstrates leadership, communication, and time management in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Professionally manages planning, delivery and advancement of special education programs.
• Monitor compliance with state and regulatory standards.
• Track data required by the state and other authorities.
• Oversee staff recruitment, orientation and performance evaluation.
• Administer testing programs and maintain test security.
• Coordinate professional development and deployment of program resources.
• Collaborate with teachers to improve lesson design and classroom delivery.
• Maintain enrollment records and student files.
