Job summary

Devereux Day Academy in Landenberg, PA is seeking an Education Program Coordinator to supervise staff, oversee daily activities, and support students in a K-12 certified special education setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for Education Program Coordinator.
• PA Department of Education Instructional I Certification in Special Education required.
• Instructional II Certification in an area of instruction preferred.
• Experience in classroom and direct instruction required; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and guidance to staff by communicating and ensuring compliance with state educational requirements and organizational and center standards of care.
• Oversee daily building-level activities, supports staff, meets with students, provides oversight and direction according to school standards, PBIS, and Devereux Policy.
• Lead professional development sessions for Teachers and Support Staff on Special Education related material.
• Support the IEP process.
