Job summary

Kingdom East Unified Union School District seeks a full-time Consulting Special Education Supervisor based at Lyndon Town School in Lyndonville, Vermont. The role provides leadership, consultation, and administrative oversight to strengthen inclusive practices across school settings.

The position focuses on building staff capacity for social-emotional, behavioral, communication, and functional needs via strong Tier 1 classroom practices and MTSS.

Qualifications

• Has or is eligible for a Vermont AOE certification/licensure.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative leadership and supervision of special education and related staff.
• Lead development of layered supports (universal, targeted, intensive) aligned with MTSS.
• Collaborate with educators, families and administrators to support inclusive practices.
• Model effective instructional and behavioral practices and coach staff.
• Contribute to professional learning on behavior, social-emotional learning and disability-specific supports.
