Job summary

Kingdom East Unified Union School District in Vermont seeks a full-time Inclusion Specialist assigned to Miller’s Run School. The role supports assessment, consulting and behavior prevention and response plans for teachers, special educators, and IEP/504 teams.

The Inclusion Specialist will observe students and write FBAs/BIPs to drive growth. Strong communication and collaboration with families are essential as part of a PLC-driven team focused on student success and least restrictive

Qualifications

• Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Assess student needs and develop behavior prevention plans.
• Write FBAs and BIPs after observation of a student learning environment.
• Collaborate with inclusion teams and PLC model to support programming.
• Support teachers and special educators in classroom management and student progress.
