Job summary

Onslow County Public Schools seeks an Exceptional Children Program Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. You will provide guidance, professional development, and resources to teachers and EC staff to implement effective practices across schools.

You will collaborate with classroom teachers and administrators, align training with the district improvement plan, and support timelines for federal paperwork while promoting inclusive practices and accurate IEP processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and current teaching license.
• At least three years of successful teaching experience (required).
• Experience in leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional development on researched-based instructional practices.
• Monitor implementation of instructional strategies for fidelity to guided practices.
• Work with EC teachers to analyze student data and plan activities using tools like Brigance.
• Coordinate use of instructional/assistive technology to enhance instruction.
• Duties to support ongoing operations of the Department of Exceptional Children.
