Job summary

Reynoldsburg City Schools is seeking a Specialized Paraprofessional to assist in supervising and instructing students with special needs under a certificated teacher in a special education classroom.

The role includes observing student progress, implementing instructional plans, and providing clerical support to teachers. Requires a high school diploma and an Ohio Education Aide permit; 1–2 years paraprofessional experience preferred. 192 work days; non-exempt.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ohio Education Aide permit with ESEA credential required.
• Experience as a paraprofessional preferred (1–2 years).

Responsibilities

• Assist certificated teachers with lesson delivery and assessments.
• Observe and document student progress; implement instructional plans.
• Prepare daily behavior charts and support classroom activities.
• Assist students with toileting, feeding, and use of adaptive equipment as needed.
• Maintain records and write reports/logs.
