Job summary

Educational Service Center of Central Ohio is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Intervention Specialist to support students with diverse learning needs. The position reports to the Building Principal and carries a long-term leave of absence schedule from November 1, 2026 to February 1, 2026, with the daily rate of $155 and a pay

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license (e.g., Mild/Moderate, Moderate/Intensive, or other relevant K-12 licensure).
• Successful completion of BCI/FBI background checks; satisfactory criminal background check per Ohio law.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and support for students with diverse learning needs, implementing IEPs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to co-plan, co-teach, and differentiate instruction.
• Lead and participate in IEP meetings and maintain confidential student records.
• Communicate student progress to students, families, and colleagues; promote positive relationships.
