Garfield Re-2 School District in New Castle, Colorado is seeking a Significant Support Needs Paraprofessional for Elk Creek Elementary School. Position Summary: Significant Support Needs Paraprofessional provides individualized support to a student with significant support needs to help them access the educational environment safely and successfully. Working under the supervision of a special education teacher and school staff, the paraprofessional assists with academic tasks, behavior support, communication, personal care, and social interaction to promote independence and participation in school activities

Status: Full Time, 32 Hours Per Week, 153 Days Per Year

*In district experience range- $17.41-$38.44

*No in district experience salary range- $17.41-$18.84
