Job summary

Garfield School District No. RE-2 is seeking a full-time paraprofessional at Rifle High School for the 2026-2027 school year. The role supports special education teachers, assists with instruction, medical needs and documentation, and may involve daily living tasks and behavior management. Strong community relations are encouraged.

The position is 34 hours per week across 153 days per year, with in-district pay range described below and a comprehensive benefits package for staff.

Position Summary: Responsible for providing assistance to special education teachers. Assists in the instruction, medical, and health needs of special education students. Provides some clerical (documentation) support to teachers. May provide assistance with a variety of daily functions such as toileting, feeding, and life skills instruction and/or behavior management. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.

Status :Full Time, 34 hours per week, 153 days per year

Location : Rifle High School

Salary Range:

*No in district experience salary range- 17.41-18.84
