SSN Special Education Para

Position Summary: Significant Support Needs Paraprofessional provides individualized support to a student with significant support needs to help them access the educational environment safely and successfully. Working under the supervision of a special education teacher and school staff, the paraprofessional assists with academic tasks, behavior support, communication, personal care, and social interaction to promote independence and participation in school activities.

Status: Full Time, 153 Days Per Year, 34 Hours Per Week

Location: Wamsley Elementary School, Rifle CO

Salary Range:

• *Classified no in district experience salary range: $17.41-$25.73
• *Classified in district experience salary range: $17.41-$18.84
