Job summary

Roosevelt Jr. High, part of Roosevelt Independent School District, seeks a compassionate Special Education Paraprofessional to assist in the Structured Learning Classroom (SLC).

You will support individualized instruction, behavior support, and daily living skills to students with special needs under teacher direction. You will help implement IEP goals, support classroom management, and collaborate with teachers and staff to promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or higher preferred.
• Experience supporting students with disabilities is a plus.
• Strong communication, patience, and ability to work in a team are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with classroom management and student supervision.
