Summary

This position requires a collaborative spirit and a commitment to enhancing the educational experience for all students.

Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, ensuring they understand the material and remain engaged.
  • Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed.

Requirements
  • A minimum of thirty (30) college credits from an accredited college or university.
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting student learning and development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow directions from teachers and administrators.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using educational technology.
  • Knowledge of child development and educational practices is a plus.
  • Must pass background checks and any other required screenings prior to employment.

Full Time Salary: $29,057.28

Part Time Rate: $22.56/hour
