Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Paraprofessional for Special Education (Sped) with Moderate Needs at Mount Garfield Middle School. This role provides instructional, behavioral, and personal-care support, assisting with IEP goals and data collection while maintaining a structured learning environment.

The position requires collaboration with licensed staff, strong communication, and adaptability to meet diverse student needs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's degree or 48 college hours or WorkKeys passing score required for Title I schools.
Experience with children in educational or childcare settings preferred.
Prior school district experience preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) language skills required when assigned to a bilingual program.

Responsibilities

Provide instructional support in individual, small-group, and classroom settings.
Assist with implementing IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications under licensed staff.
Prepare and organize instructional materials and visuals as directed.
Support data collection and progress monitoring.
Assist with personal care and health-related tasks under supervision.
Support students during transitions, field trips, and supervision.
Collaborate with teachers and service providers to support student needs.
