Garfield School District is seeking a Mild Moderate Special Education Paraprofessional for Rifle High School in Rifle, CO. The role involves assisting teachers, supporting students with medical and health needs, and performing clerical duties to help run daily classroom operations.

Work is full-time, 34 hours per week, 153 days per year, at Rifle High School. In-district experience is not required for the given salary range.

Responsibilities

Job Summary : Responsible for providing assistance to special education teachers. Assists in the instruction, medical, and health needs of special education students. Provides some clerical (documentation) support to teachers. May provide assistance with a variety of daily functions such as toileting, feeding, and life skills instruction and/or behavior management. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.

Salary Range:

*No in district experience salary range- $17.41-$18.84
