Responsibilities

Facilitates participation of all assigned students in classroom activities.
Facilitates peer integration.
Implements IEP goals and objectives in an integrated setting.
Gathers and records data on IEP goals.
Carries out health, behavior, and safety protocols.
Communicates with teachers, SPED staff, administration, and related service providers about student progress and observations.
Maintains confidentiality of student information.
Serves as a resource to the SPED team.
Maintains positive relationships with staff, students, and parents.
Refers parent concerns to classroom teachers and/or SPED staff.
Supports and implements the school discipline philosophy.
Follows district policies, procedures, goals, and curriculum.
