Job summary

Monadnock Regional Middle High School in New Hampshire is seeking a Paraprofessional to assist with and support students under the supervision of the Building Principal and/or Special Education Coordinator.

Responsibilities include assisting teachers, preparing instructional materials, collecting data for progress, enforcing rules, and supporting IEP goals across both special and regular education settings. Candidates should have NH DOE Paraprofessional II certification or ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• NH DOE Certification as Paraprofessional II or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience working with children.
• Basic literacy skills in reading, writing, and mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in providing positive learning experiences during group and individual instruction.
• Prepare materials for individual students to use in the classroom.
• Assist with data collection for instructional programs and student progress.
• Support enforcement of classroom, school, and district rules.
• Maintain appropriate supervision under IEP guidance during activities and transitions.
• Assist with grooming, mobility and transfer tasks as trained, and log services for Medicaid if applicable.
• Collaborate with the IEP team to implement curriculum modifications and accommodations.
