Job summary

Poudre School District is seeking a Paraprofessional for Integrated Services at Cache La Poudre Elementary in Laporte, CO. The role provides instructional, physical, and behavioral support to students with mild to moderate disabilities to access the general education curriculum.

Responsibilities include assisting teachers, implementing behavior strategies, monitoring progress, and coordinating with school staff to uphold safety and instructional quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience preferred.
• Experience supporting students with IEPs and behavioral plans is desirable.
• Ability to lift and assist students as needed and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering instruction and accommodations for students.
• Support students with diverse needs in general and special education settings.
• Monitor student progress, behavior, and engagement; document incidents and outcomes.
• Assist with classroom management, transitions, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with teachers, caseworkers, and mental health staff to implement IEPs.
