Qualifications

• Willingness to accept direction and cooperate with all staff.

• Criminal Record Check (C.O.R.I.) and fingerprint check required.
• Ability to learn and use assistive technology.
• Requirements may be adjusted by district policy.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a certified teacher, prepare for classroom instructional events.
• Assist with implementing strategies and interventions from teachers.
• Provide positive role models and maintain respectful interactions.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding students and staff.
• Support learning in academics, social skills, self-care, and vocational tasks.
• Use Google Classroom and other digital tools to support learning.
• Assist with data collection and progress monitoring as instructed.
• Collaborate with specialists (BCBA, SLP, School Psychologist, OT, etc.).
• Assist with behavior management and CPI-certified interventions if needed.
