Qualifications

• High School Diploma and passing Paraprofessional Assessment.
• Completed at least 2 years of study at an institution of higher learning and accumulating at least 60 credits.
• Obtain an Associates Degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing support to special education students to achieve IEP goals.
• Assist in instructional activities and reinforce skills as directed by the teacher.
• Help establish a classroom environment conducive to learning and supervise students during assigned times.
• Participate in staff and aide meetings and monitor student behavior for safety and discipline.
