Qualifications

• Minimum of two years college experience OR completion of Parapro Assessment.
• Parapro assessment can be completed with MCPS by appointment.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in preparing instructional materials to support students with disabilities.
• Provide accommodations and modifications as documented in IEPs.
• Reinforce material and assist with data collection and records.
• Support individual and small-group instruction adapted to students' abilities.
• Maintain classroom order and assist with behavior management plans.
• Support use of technology or augmentative communication devices.
• Supervise students and ensure safety throughout the school day.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
