Job summary

Pheasant Point Elementary is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to assist teachers in supporting students with disabilities and implementing IEP goals. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer candidates with at least 60 college hours and ability to obtain substitute teacher certification.
• Experience with students with disabilities or in educational settings preferred.
• Commitment to supporting diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with instruction for special education students.
• Monitor and support students in multiple environments per IEP.
• Assist with daily living skills (feeding, toileting, mobility).
• Model positive behaviors and support behavior management.
• Escort students between classes and activity locations.
• Maintain student records and assist with data collection for IEP goals.
