Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma; additional college credits/desirable equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructional staff with learning materials and activities.
• Tutor individual students or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Monitor and assist students during practice and study activities.
• Direct students to safe activities and support positive social behaviors.
• Assist in managing student behavior using positive strategies.
• Prepare instructional materials and learning aids for individuals or small groups.
• Maintain records including confidential student information.
• Operate educational equipment and media devices.
• Help maintain an orderly, positive learning environment.
• May participate in parent conferences and progress reporting.
• Assist with daily student health needs as required.
