Job summary

Charlotte Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional for Parkview Elementary (1st-3rd Grade). The role supports classroom instruction and supervision in lunch/playground areas to help create a well-organized learning environment.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and CPI/paraprofessional training, with prior experience in special education and strong teamwork, communication, and confidentiality skills. Monday–Friday schedule, 7 hours per day, on site.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to complete paraprofessional testing and CPI training.
• Prior experience with special education students is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support and assist in lunchroom and playground.
• Assist in the special education program to foster a structured environment.
• Collaborate with staff to implement instructional activities and resources.
