Qualifications

• Education level: Associate degree, 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours or passing score on GACE Paraprofessional Assessment
• Must maintain Georgia Paraprofessional Certificate
• Experience: None
• Ability to assist with physical tasks as needed

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance
• Assists classroom teacher with preparation and implementation of class activities
• Assists with record keeping and data collection
• Participates in school functions and field trips
• Performs in-service training participation
• Assists with movement and positioning of students as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned by administrator
