Starting September 8, 2026, this 181‑day role reports to the Principal and offers a monthly pay schedule. Requires GaPSC paraprofessional credentials or equivalent coursework and passing the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment.

Qualifications

• Hold an associate degree or 60 college hours or a high school diploma with GACE Paraprofessional.
• Georgia Paraprofessional Certificate with in‑service training.
• 0 years of experience required for this role.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and assist with student transfers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
• Assist the classroom teacher with class activities and data collection.
• Maintain record‑keeping and contribute to IEP-related tasks.
• Assist with hall duties and bus loading as directed.
• Provide support for toileting, feeding, and related student care tasks.
• Lead the substitute teacher when the classroom teacher is absent.
