Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Eligible with 48 college credit hours or an associate degree.
• Pass OGET and PARAPRO tests or obtain eligibility after offer.
• National Career Readiness Certificate preferred.
• Must pass a National Criminal History Check and meet state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for classroom activities under supervisor lead.
• Perform clerical duties for assigned teachers.
• Conduct learning exercises with small groups of children.
• Guide children to work and play harmoniously.
• Provide escort and assistance to children as needed.
• Assist with feeding, toileting, dressing, and basic needs.
• Assist teachers with material duplication and record keeping.
• Support students individually as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records.
