Job summary

Constantine Public Schools is seeking a dedicated full-time staff member to support students and classrooms. You will help maintain a positive climate, work with diverse student groups, and follow district policies while collaborating with teachers and families.

The role includes assisting with daily student activities, safety, and data recording. Candidates should demonstrate teamwork, reliability, and strong communication skills in a school setting.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and students.
  • Experience working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive student climate.
  • Solve practical problems where standardization is limited.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with students, staff and the community.
  • Communicate clearly in oral and written form.
  • Follow district requirements and Board of Education policies.
  • Assist students daily (transport to campus areas, help with daily problems, ensure safety).
  • Drop off/pick up duties as assigned.
  • Work with students in small group instruction (general ed, special ed, at-risk, Title I).
  • Communicate regularly with staff (written and oral).
  • Keep records of student data.
  • Administer and analyze district assessments.
  • Plan, organize and demonstrate good work habits.
  • Other duties as assigned by administration.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form
  • Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies
  • Assist students daily in the following manner:
    • Transport students to and from various areas around campus
    • Assist students with problems they encounter throughout the day
    • Make sure students are safe in all campus areas
  • Drop off/pick up duties as assigned
  • Work with students in small group instruction, including general education, special education, at risk, Title I and other special populations of students.
  • Communicate regularly, both written and orally, with staff members
  • Keep records of student data
  • Administer and analyze district assessments
  • Plan, organize and demonstrate good work habits
  • Other duties as assigned by administration
