With 29 hours weekly from 8:45 to 11:45 am, you will work under the supervision of special education teachers and play a vital role in helping students meet IEP goals. Experience with special needs children and strong communication skills are essential.

Position Summary

Westwood Elementary is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Special Education Paraprofessional to support the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students in grades K–5. This individual will work under the direct supervision of the special education teachers and building administrator, providing instructional and behavioral support in classrooms, small group settings, and one-on-one as needed. This role plays a key part in helping students access their learning, meet IEP goals, and thrive in the general education environment when appropriate.
