Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate’s degree or 60 semester hours from an accredited university, or satisfactory AZ competency exam.
• CPR/First Aid certification provided.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment including computer software.
• Satisfactory criminal background check.
• Physical requirements: exert 10-50 lbs, mobility.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in small groups or near the teacher to reinforce material.
• Translate for parents, students, staff when required.
• Assist with personal care tasks to support students with hearing/vision impairments.
• Implement behavioral plans under supervision to support positive environments.
• Assist with data collection and assessments under certified teacher guidance.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information.
