Chandler Unified School District is seeking a Paraeducator for Special Education - Learning Disability (Inclusion/Resource). You will provide instructional support under the supervision of the special education teacher for students with varying disabilities.

The role covers inclusion settings, social-emotional growth, and daily classroom operations. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR/First Aid certification, and ability to work with diverse student needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate's degree or 60 semester hours may qualify under Title 1 provisions.
• AZ state-approved parapro exam may be required at district cost.

Responsibilities

• Student Support & Instruction: Reinforce material and skills with individuals or small groups.
• Social-Emotional Development: Support positive behaviors and strategies for learning.
• Supervision & Safety: Monitor students during activities and drills; ensure safety.
• Classroom Operations: Maintain a quiet, orderly classroom.
• Communication & Confidentiality: Relay student information to teachers as needed.
• Flexibility & Teamwork: Take on additional duties to support district goals.
