Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 48 college hours or qualifying Master Teacher Online Exam within 90 days of employment.
• In-service training: 20 hours per year required; non-exempt, at-will position.

Responsibilities

• Adapts and provides accommodations of classroom activities under teacher direction.
• Aids students in and out of classroom to support needs and social growth.
• Assists with personal care needs to enable participation in school activities.
• Participates in trainings to meet annual state requirements.
• Collaborates with staff to support student progress in IEPs.
