Job summary

Timberline High School is seeking a Paraeducator for the 2026-27 school year to support instructional and student services for students with special needs. The role includes 6.5 hours per day, five days a week across 189 days.

Responsibilities include helping teachers with assessments, implementing curriculum, supervising students, and providing health-related support under nurse direction as needed. The district emphasizes culturally diverse engagement and collaboration with families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate’s Degree or 72 quarter credits OR ParaPro test is required.
• May be required to be certified in first aid, CPR, and/or operation of defibrillators.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in assessment, curriculum implementation, and student support in special education settings.
• Assist with daily tasks and health-related interventions under supervision as needed.
• Provide instructional support and tutoring to students in groups or one-on-one settings.
