Responsibilities

• Ability to work successfully with students individually or in groups.
• Establishes a supportive relationship with the assigned student(s).
• Follow direction and assist other staff in educating students with special needs.
• Adapt instructional activities to assist students and support them cognitively and physically in the classroom.
• Attend required meetings, participate fully, and provide feedback about the education of students.
• Understand and implement Pekin educational program policies and procedures.
• Maintain communication with appropriate personnel, confidentiality, and complete necessary paperwork or reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or Principal.
