Qualifications

• ParaPathways Reading/Writing 332+ and Math 334+.
• Foundations of Classroom Support 220+ and Foundations of Classroom Support/Instruction 220+.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to be trained in restraint techniques.
• Ability to lift and transfer students up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to students during instruction.
• Implements lesson plans with individuals or small groups.
• Works under teacher supervision for instruction.
• Assists with data collection, testing, and assessments.
• Assists with IEP/IFSP implementation where placement applies.
• Monitors behavior and applies behavioral strategies.
• Prepares instructional materials for students.
• Supports school-wide duties including field trips and bus duty.
• Assists with virtual instruction and data collection as needed.
